A History Of Hard Work And Success

The law firm of Noble & Noble, PLLC, has a long and proud history of serving the legal needs of the people of Mississippi. James F. Noble Sr. started the firm in 1909 and practiced for over 50 years before he retired, as did James F. Noble Jr. (Jim), who retired in 2004. James F. During his early career, James Noble Sr. was a congressional law clerk in Washington, D.C, for Mississippi U.S. Representative Percy Quin. After returning to Mississippi, he served the state of Mississippi as a specially appointed circuit judge but spent the better part of his 50-plus years in practice serving the needs of his clients. Jim Noble was a member of the “Greatest Generation” and served our country as a combat veteran of World War II. After entering law practice in 1948 with his father, Jim Noble served in various civic and legal-related organizations and on Governor Bill Waller Sr.’s Mississippi Agricultural and Industrial Board.

Head attorney Jamie Noble has litigated claims for both plaintiffs and defendants in our civil justice system. This broad experience allows for pragmatic and even-handed advice to the firm’s clients, which is not tainted by bias that can affect an attorney’s judgment who practices only on “one side” of the courtroom.

  • Business consulting and commercial litigation: Our commercial litigation practice involves advising and litigating on behalf of businesses, large and small, including providing consulting and representative services in administrative, regulatory and litigated matters.
  • Trucking and transportation law: As general counsel to a large commercial motor carrier, we have experience in handling a myriad of legal needs for a trucking company, including defense of vehicle and on-the-job accident claims, insurance-related claims, and labor and employment claims.

We purposefully keep our office small and our overhead low so that we can offer our clients the most efficient and cost-effective legal services possible.
