The firm was founded in 1909 by James F. Noble, Sr., in Brookhaven, Mississippi, who attended Mississippi College (Clinton, Mississippi) and obtained his law degree from Millsaps College School of Law (Jackson, Mississippi). He practiced for over 50 years before retiring. Mr. Noble, Sr., was joined in 1948 by his son, James F. Jim Noble practiced law for over 50 years, and served Mississippians in other capacities including as President of the Jr. Bar Association (now the Mississippi Young Lawyers Association), and as a member of Governor Bill Waller, Sr.’s staff.
